Lori, in most cases, it is unclear who you will be voting for. It is only the US Senate and Congressional races where it appears you state a clear preference for the Democrat.

In other words, you are only voting in the specific ballots where you offered a preference here?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Nah. Just not sure what value there is in stating those preferences. There's only one position I'm unsure of at this point. I also probably won't be voting where my vote is literally meaningless.

Oerdin : By what date did you have to mail in your ballots?
There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

In CA, the law says ballots must be post marked by Election Day and received no later than 3 days after Election Day.

I think I will just hand drop it off.

That strikes me as weird... but so does most of the US voting methods/rules.

pchand I saw your post before I commented. Technology exists to completely undermine that system... results declared, a few hundred extra ballots appear to overturn results. A little absurd.

I dropped my ballot off at the polling station. Lines were long but they had a short second line to drop off ballots.

Dropping off ballots saves the government postage.

And then the poll workers shredded it and "counted" the votes that had been previously agreed on.

                        Only in Georgia.

Plus I get to show my I.D. so no one can invalidate my ballot as Republicans are doing in several states like Georgia.
