    Cool story, bro.

I dropped active use of FB about a year ago. Only reason I didn't delete my account is my wife uses it for her organizing activities (TedX, Food Bank, etc) and she wants her status to link to her husbands account "to keep the creepers at bay."

I probably average signing on about once every two years. I expect that to decrease

I still have it although I have intended to delete it several times in the past 18 months. The knowledge that it is basically like Fox News, but international (abetting and aiding attacks on democracy) makes it really hard to keep supporting it.

It is also hard to delete.

(My wife deleted her FB ages ago after a series of conflicts about race and policing with my family members after Ferguson. She has encouraged me to delete mine, but actually spends more time on it then I. I am pretty sure that what I do on it is a good (maintain a light connection with people who I otherwise wouldn't), I don't spend much time on it nor do I post that much (even in politics I post a lot less often than I am inclined to). And just because I use it in a good way does not mean it is unethical to support it when it enables and encourages such bad behavior.)

There was a short while that I got some of my news from FB. This has ended (I have expanded my non-FB sites from Apolyton/Economist to Apolyton/Economist/TheAtlantic/Bloomberg/WashingtonPost/TheNewYorker/Vox).

I am proud to say I have never used Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, or Instagram. And I never played Fortnight or PUNBG or whatever it's called.

Private website. If they don't want a neonazi like Alex Jones, that is their right.

I had no use for Facebook and deleted my profile in 2015. Don't care for Facebook.

I use FB for a writers' group and to keep in touch with a handful of old friends. Sometimes I message Lori on it too. I've unfollowed a couple of people for dumping endless inane opinions on my feed, but I'm still "friends" in the sense that I haven't flipped them the digital bird by removing them from a list. Should it disturb us that FB has a built-in bad-faith feature like that? Probably not, since it's for the best.

Never used facebook, i did hit classmates in the face with a book in junior high and high school on a couple occasions though. Does that count as "Face-Booking"?

Just post random stuff you aren't interested in your Facebook feed. Screw with their AI. (I'm not saying load their AI on your sex doll!)
