Do I really have to remind a russian of his own history?
About the fact that russia, just like the western european states, had a feudal system of nobility during most of the last centuries?
That Tsar Peter I (the great) in the 17th century went to western europe and worked as apprentice in different western european industries (like ship building, architecture, painting) in order to bring western european knowledge back to russia (and was welcomed in all european stated he traveled to)
That russians fought together with the western european nations (like England, Prussia (and other german states) and the Netherlands) against France under Napoleon I.
Or that the wife of the last russian Tsar was of german nobility (as IIRC were the wives of different Tsars before that)
It was only the russian october revolution and Stalins (finally failed) "dream" of a world revolution that would turn the whole world communist (a world revolution that was supposed to be supported actively by the soviet union) that estranged russia and western europe
My point was that, when it is war - you (the West) - LOOSE! No matter how richer you are, we always beat you! Always!
That is what always happens when a warrior meets a trader (even with a gang of hired thugs behind his back).
