Wait! I forgot Marty needed to keep the dance going until his 1950's mom kissed his 1950's dad... so he did the right thing by playing something that would be a hit in a few year... something accessible to the teenagers, but different, that would keep the kids dancing. In that case, some Buddy Holly and Everly Brothers would be the best idea.

                    Yall are painfully white.

                    1. I Second That Emotion - Smokey Robinson & The Miracles
                    2. Bring It On Home To Me - Sam Cooke
                    3. Let's Stay Together - Al Green

I don't know what the rest of you are thinking, but I'm making goddamn sure George and Lorraine consummate their relationship after (maybe even during) the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance. Enjoy watching yourself fade from that Polaroid.

                          Who let the dogs out?

For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Yes, but in the movie they had already kissed before Marty played his "song from the future" (remember how he was having difficulty playing, standing, even existing? Then the couple kisses, Marty jumps back to his feet, whole in body and spirit, and only then does he breaks out with "Johnny B. Goode") so we can safely consider that requirement to have been met for this scenario.

See above. In the movie, they have already kissed prior to Marty playing JBG. The "gotta make them kiss" plan is not an issue for this scenario.
