  • Poster #666 wants to know: What the hell have y'all done with this place? Are these curtains new? WHO'S THAT IN MY ROOM?

I mean, go away for a decade+ and when you return it's like finding out your parents rented your room out to some boarder who put a Taylor Swift poster where your *****in' Led Zep montage was.

I'll get used to the "new" look, I'm sure, but dayum.

How are things? For me, I'm writing this on one of those fancy "smartphone" things that didn't exist on my... (checks) ... last posting date. Other than that, little has changed... except, well, everything.

Tags? Huh, let's have some fun...

Well, Steve Jobs killed the family business, the bastard. My dad passed away and I haven't seen my stepmother in... counts... 8 years. Sophia got a job offer in Hollywood when she was 10. I'm friends with the mayor of San Antonio (where I moved to in 2009). Drusilla from BTVS follows me on Twitter. I call Ted Cruz so regularly his staff knows me by name (no, I don't get to talk to ol' Rafael, but his people get to hear me give him ****).

And these damned text boxes are tiny on a cell phone. WTF?

          Anyway, lots of stories.

Welcome back. Sorry about the family business. I could see it was in trouble with the internet, Google (especially Google maps), and smart phones.

Dinner was Oerdin in the old days.

                            Holy ****balls, it's John mother****ing T!

Dinner is still Oerdin; he's just confused. I think when you left Mark and Dan still owned the site. It's gone through a couple ownership changes since then, and even had a schism. So it's more like you went back to your parents' house, found the keys didn't work, broke in, and surprised the hell out of a couple potheads squatting in a dilapidated, rat-infested dump.

I see this place is still concerned about the pure, untainted eyes of all the 10 year-olds who go to message boards about 4X games. ****! ****! *****! :P
