With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

It's a bit scary that americans isn't aware of the fact that most of the country is acquired through mass murder, deceit, abuse and other not so cute methods

          Oh, that.

That's not Miss America, that's Sister America. She's a character in SATW, and I think she's representing the world at large here.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

And those that are aware of it often claim that their ancestors had some kind of divine mission to conquer the territory now known as the USA and found the state.

As, after all, mass murder and deceiving/forcing natives out of their land is a good thing, as long as you do it for the glory and in the name of the lord

I count myself as a human as my primary fealty, that way I can feel guilty about every bad thing ever done in the history of mankind. But on the plus side, my people have undisputed right to all lands and seas on this planet! Except for Kodiak Island. Holy ****, don't ever go there!

It makes you wonder. I got bullied all through high school. I didn't go back with a gun and start shooting people. I got a good education and ended up being successful in business while most of those bullies are working for streets and sanitation. I just wonder if the coddling has hurt more that the protection they thought they are giving these days. And even worse the extra stress on the parents having to fill every minute for supervised activities. Heck, when we were in high school, my parents would relax for a month in Florida. Now that would probably end of with criminal charges. Even worse now with more single parents or those divorced parents that don't get the same support.

It looks like I suffer from sarcoidosis not even knowing it. Conclusion of the bronchoscopy was that all looked normal.

Get well soon BlackCat. If you permit me, when you said you had a small blood clot near the optic nerve and there was temporary loss of vision, did this all went away on itself? I'm asking because there is a similar case with a member of my family and it did go away but only after permanent blood thinning medication and oxygen therapy (where you are in a room with increased pressure and oxygen). The latter treatment was for something else and it just erased the eye blood clot problem as a beneficial side effect, and it could come back when the treatment stops. Docs said that the blood clot will not go away but it is hopefull if in your case it did.

It returned to normal after a couple of minutes except the upper right quadrant which was down 70-80 %. That took a couple of days to get normal.
