  • Our feathered friends

Today these are them birds, but couple years ago these would have been ...dinos???

But some brave scientists resist the stream of fake news:

Feather furore: T rex may not have been fluffy after all, skin study suggests

Recent speculation that giant dinosaur predators were covered in downy feathers has been challenged by a new study of tyrannosaurid skin

Personally I totally disagree with the idea of feathered dinos! Imagine the trouble of remaking all Jurassic Park/World movies only to have fluffy feathered dinos instead of scary killers, killing humans left and right! Although it could probably work as a Monty Python variant...

But aren't fluffy downy feathery predators who look totally cute, before killing you and eating you as a whole, even more scary than scaly mean looking predators?

Just think of "Galaxy quest" ... the cute childlike aliens on the planet with the Beryllium orb, who turned out to be ravenous killers

There is nothing more scary than a vicious rabbit

I read recent research arguing the birds that survived the extinction nested on the ground. Tree dwellers were effectively denied their homes by the fires.
