Lots of Maya stuff

Found this quite impressive.

Basically they did Lidar scans of a rather big area that revealed Maya a huge number of buildings/infrastructure now covered by jungle, incl. complex fortifications and causeways.

No - but there is one slight problem. The lidar shows the entirety of what the Mayans built in that area in a single snapshot. We don't know what sections were built when or if the entire thing was being actively used all at one time.
