Not quite. I'm saying the drug laws themselves are a major driver for crime and law breaking because drug laws make crime profitable. What you're raising is a concern about lower income people, some of whom are immigrants, who are not used to the stereotypical American existence of school, job/college. What drives them into crime is public schools that fail to reward good teaching and laws that make crime profitable.

I'm not concerned about low income people. I know all immigrants will be low income. I'm not against immigration. I'm against immigration of deviants.

The majority of people froom those countries who are blocked, seem to be muslims.
I cannot call it islamist ban, because this would actually be rather dishonest ... I doubt tht the majority of muslims who are affected by the ban are islamists.
There is o vetting process in Trumps ban that divided "good" muslims from "bad" islamists.

Actually AFAIK the Obama era vetting process (which, even for refugees, takes several years) already takes care that islamists (if they are discovered as such) are not allowed to immigrate to the USA.

If it is a muslim ban then it is a terrible one as it misses 97% of the world's muslim population. Now, I am actually supportive of a real muslim ban as no one has ever been able to figure out which muslims are terrorists, which ones are simply supportive of terrorism, vs which ones are neither of the above. Until that can effectively be sorted out the best policy seems to be avoiding making the problem worse by simply not importing the suspect group. Sadly, no, Trumps immigration ban from 8 countries (six of which are muslim) simply does not amount to a muslim ban and to claim otherwise is to simply lie in the face of all evidence.
