    Do burgers technically qualify as meatballs?

    I am thinking about this problem a lot recently.

    Meatballs are IMO one of the greatest universal achievements of mankind. They seem to exist in some variation, but in nearly every kind of cuisine.

    However, I'm not quite sure yet whether burgers should be included into the whole meatball sort of food, or if they form a distinctive own type.
