The fact that Steele was fired by the FBI for leaking to the media and hating Trump was not disclosed to the court. Either was the fact that Bruce Ohr continued to feed information to the FBI from Steele after Steele was fired. This is from Nunes in an interview last weekend.

I would also like to note that the "FBI meeting" has not been corroborated by either Mifsud (who is missing) nor by the FBI. It, however, has been "corroborated" by two people who are only relaying something said by Mifsud.

In short, building a theory on a meeting which no one can confirm happen is a shaky foundation for said theory.

Um, no. In fact, the word "reportedly" is used to indicate that the referenced statement is NOT a proven fact. All it means is that someone reported it. It says nothing about whether the report is true or not.
Here, have some actual dictionary definitions:

    Oxford English Dictionary:
Reportedly (adverb) -- according to what some say (used to express the speaker's belief that the information given is not necessarily true).

    American Heritage Dictionary:
Reportedly (adverb) -- by report; supposedly

    Collins English Dictionary:
Reportedly (adverb) according to rumor or report

    No, it doesn't.

"Reported" indicates a citation from a secondary source with verification: "Breitbart reported that..." Now, whether or not Breitbart is correct is still left to research, but the fact they reported it is not up to interpretation.

REPORTED definition: past participle of report. and past tense form of report. See examples of reported used in a sentence.

"Reportedly", at best, concerns itself to an uncertain citation. "Reportedly, Brietbart said that..." "Reportedly" is the equivalent of "... or "or so I heard".

REPORTEDLY definition: according to report or rumor. See examples of reportedly used in a sentence.

I should also note that "reported" is a verb and "reportedly" is an adverb. In the proper use of the word, it is impossible/incorrect to say that "reportedly" references "facts" when, in fact, it is merely a verb modifier.

    And another:

Fake News reporting, a complete fabrication, that I am concerned about the meeting my wonderful son, Donald, had in Trump Tower. This was a meeting to get information on an opponent, totally legal and done all the time in politics - and it went nowhere. I did not know about it!

"Second, the FBI reportedly interviewed Mifsud in early-to-mid February, 2017 in Washington DC, when Mifsud spoke at the Global Ties conference. Third, the FBI interviewed Papadopoulos again on February 16, 2017. The April 2017 application should have included details from these interviews, especially details from its interview of Mifsud, who, after all, supposedly provided the information that launched Crossfire Hurricane."

    "Reportedly". "supposedly". "Should have".

The federalist lmao... You couldn't have picked a worse source. A bunch of nonissues. Remember Hillary isn't subject to criminal investigation, nor is the FBI. Trump and many his colleagues are.
