  • May's cough cough speech was a brilliant move

Many believe there was a series of terrible mishaps during her speech, but here's what really happened: It was all set up as a false flag ops by Boris Johnson and Michael Gove to make her look bad.

Obviously they influenced the micro climate at the point where May stood so the air was incredibly dry there. But May saw this conspiracy coming, and was prepared: her Chancellor finally handed her a cough sweet - think about this, there's a major policy speech, and the Chancellor is handing out sweets??? Obviously something like his has to be prepared, I say!

So in the end she managed to turn it around, and instead of making her look bad she earns sympathies now. Cough.

In an obviously unrelated note, I obviously do think Brit tv commentators/media folks are using "obviously" far too often. That's plain obvious to anyone who's obviously watching tv. Obviously, if things are obviously obvious you don't need to blah ages about them. Tell us something that's less obvious instead! I thought that's obvious!?

Obviously Captain Obvious has the awesome superpower to make everything look obvious at his whim. I'm just stating the obvious here to prepare for a job as tv commentator

We used to get a lot of British TV here in Oz, and if I recall correctly, the term obviously has been overused on it since at least the 70's when I started watching TV.

I think we still get a fair bit of Brit TV, but who watches free to air or even cable these days?

Well, the latest is that Junckers personally told Barnier to stop negotiating an interim agreement because Junckers fears such an agreement would only encourage others to also leave plus he is afraid successful negotiations would elevate Barnier to a position where Barnier might be able to challenger Junckers for the leadership position.

It is now perfectly clear, if it was not already, that the arrogant Junckers is personally trying to sabotage negotiations due to his personal career goals not because he gives a **** about the best interests of all the nations involved. Such self serving B.S. is why the UK opted to leave and it is why other nations likely will also leave especially when they find they can get the free trade they want without having to pay into a paracitic organization which only serves the interests of a bloated elite.

Well, it doesn't get any better if you repeat this over and over again. The EU does not work like that, plain and simple. Juncker, Barnier, Merkel or whowever couldn't "give" the UK some favourable deal neither back then when Cameron tried nor today with Brexit. They might negotiate, but finally all EU member states have to agree to it, and if it's foreseeable that some would not (for various reasons) than there is no deal.
