  • From the Hard Court to Hard Time

The Justice Department and FBI's probe into college basketball's seedy underbelly of bribes and agents working in the shadows could very well upend the entire notion of NCAA amateurism. And that would come after potential convictions that lead to long jail sentences.

Rick Pitino of Kentucky is on the way out, and some other schools are involved... It would be nice if this cheating ended, but I also think its BS athletes cant be compensated. Let sponsors and pro teams start paying them in HS, but I dont know if colleges should be allowed, they're mostly public.

Chuck Person went from making $23 million in the NBA to hustling kids for $50 thousand. Granted after taxes and agent's fees he probably only took home $11 million, but prudent man should have been able to save at least $5 million. That would fund at least a $200 thousand per year lifestyle for the rest of his life.
“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

If there was ever a situation for another death penalty for the program from the NCAA, this one qualifies. Literally on top of the hooker scandal. Talk about total disregard of the rules.
But since it's Kentucky, it won't happen. If not, it's all just a farce.

Figure out a way to pay them. If someone could come up with a fair workable method, it would already have been done.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
