Welp I am officially getting my ass kicked thoroughly by the AI in NBA 2k18. Happens every year they make one. By February I will manage to be good enough to become 'average.' Then next September NBA 2k19 will come out and I will get my ass kicked again.

I might have to as well. NBA 2K is now, maybe always has been, a multiplayer game. I play the single-player General Manager mode on a Hard level. I read soem other complaints on the internet today that mirror what I have been saying about not being able to shoot or do layups... on the 2nd EASIEST LEVEL!

I refuse to lower the difficulty because the AI cannot handle me and must cheat to win. I stopped playing Civ because of this when I roasted Regent level but as soon as I got to Prince the AI went buck**** crazy on me with the added bonuses and nerfing my ass.

Let me finish by saying I do not like multiplayer games. In fact I refuse to play them now. But now after a week of this garbage 2K game I am officially done. I just lost $60. But they just lost my business. It's too bad because I like basketball, but maybe I am done watching that as well with the Warriors locking up the title for the next decade anyway. No I am not going back to NBA Live. And no I will not play 2K again if they patch it later and fix the scoring.

Maybe it's time I gave up video games altogether. Stick to reality for a while.

Video games are reality. You just have to make time for face to face human interactions. I can only win CIV 4 on Prince level. I don't know why they make the higher levels. The AI already seems to have an advantage at higher levels. I have beaten it at King level one time, but why bother. It's just more fun when you have an equal chance of winning. I am getting better though so maybe I will go up a level, but there are more levels above that.
