Their "philosophies" are diametrically opposed. Marx was a materialist and a Hegelian just for starters.
I'm listening to this guy do philosophy kind of Ted Talks and he thinks Marx might be the greatest philosopher ever, but he seemed to like Kierkegaard too, although he totally misunderstood his concept of spirit, which seems to be hard to do.
Why do people feel the need to kind of play devil's advocate when they teach philosophy? Does that prove they are bull****ting?
