Why don't you cockwombles have a thread about Houston disappearing under water and being inundated by alligators, poisonous snakes, chemical plant explosions and potentially biohazard lab leaks? More to the point, how have the resident Texans not been posting hundreds of whiny ass posts about this?

More to the point it's that everyone on this planet is a (more or less) ignorant SOB the more distance there is between us ignorant SOBs and bad stuff. Sad but true.
For example right now there's also heavy rain/flooding in India/neighboring countries with over 1000 deaths. I'm ignoring this so much that I can't care about Texas at the same time....

Why worry?
Trump will rebuild Texas much bigger and better than ever before ... including a wall at the border to Mexico which not only will protect the USA from the Stream of illegal immigrants, but also will prevent that any Hurricanes will hit Texas again (and will direct them south to Mexico instead).
And he will do it at so little costs, that he will even be able to cut the FEMA budget by ~1 Billion $ which then can be used in order to finance the tax cuts for the rich

Oh, and it has been unseasonably hot and muggy here recently meaning I had difficulty enjoying the Padres/Dodgers double header because I was sweating like a pig in heat. I blame Texas for this global warming.
