Already the 4th accident of US warships this year ... and the 3rd collision between an US warship and a civilian ship.
One would assume that this shouldn't be possible without large levels of negligience, considering the large number of electronics on board that serve to detect other ships and project their courses.
Especially if we talk about Container ships (previous incident) or even oil tankers (newest incident) which should be quite hard to overlook or avoid detection by Radar and the like
