So I've got either good news or not so good news.
I did something unthinkable and asked my friend if she'd see us dating or just be friends. The thing is, I really like her a lot. She is single, I am single. We've also spent quite a lot of tiem together, lately. She's awesome, we both hike, love the same books, etc. She is outrageously hot, in a very unique way (meaning I find her very hot). Now, this weekend we went to see a movie (done it a lot with her), and we went to her place afterwards. Out of the blue, she just started to show some sexy things from her closet with "I wanted to show you something, they remind me of you", and then what was supposed to be a water bottle refill and bathroom turned into a few hour discussion of things. I think, she wanted me to go for it. But she is a friend, so I did not. After all, it was 2AM and she had invited me to her place. I am saying I am not a *****. As I left, I felt bad. Maybe she felt shut down. That, plus I am into her. So I messaged her saying sorry that I left, and that I really wanted to stay. We went to a gig the next day but it was so loud I couldn't bring it up again. So I did the unthinkable and _emailed_ her. I continued the chat we started, gave my views and just said I find her very interesting and would definitely date her if she'd see us dating, but if not, I'd love to remain friends too. Just openly saying how I felt about it.
She got back to me the next day, and has been messaging to me. I felt OK, maybe she hasn't read it, but I won't push it. She's been sending me quite normal messages the whole day. I like it, I usually don't msg with people unless I have something to actually say. Not the kinds of "**** its raining, how's your day going?". With her though, I do that, and she does it back. Now, she's off to watching GoT, and just let me know she'll be replying to my email later. I'm biting my nails off! So that's a risk that I just took, but it might work out. Let's hope so.
So yay, good luck to me. She's very nonchalant and natural about things, so she can handle herself for sure. Point being, as I've been single for quite a while, it would be a nice change to date again, and being a bit picky and weird, she would be a good person to date. Highly intelligent. Rare.
