Das Krauts thought that the double would be a simple walkover since they only had to beat Denmark - a team that was called back from summer vacation to replace Yougoslavia that had been banned, though they forgot a couple of things - to win you have to score and prevent the opposition to do the same.

2-0 and Denmark won the EM championship

Copenhagen and most other danish cities was one big party that night.

Denmark is also running Maersk Line, the world's largest container shipping company. Of course, ppl who apply for a job on a giant container ship only do so because they can endlessly play real-life Tetris and do still get paid for it

Tetris is a lot easier when every piece is a horizontal 3x1 block.

That reminds me about some people saying "digital electronics is easy, because every fool can count to one"
          Tough mathematics, huh?
Just kidding, a lot of simple things have a lot of aspects with thin ledges and a lot of things to advance.

No seventh EM gold medal in a row to the female krauts.

Even gifted a free goal almost from start helped. Denmark kicked their asses out of the quarterfinals 2-1

On the International level, most women's sports are not that good because they are not very competitive. There are a few powerhouses and everyone else is terrible. Thankfully, women's football (soccer) is starting to improve in that regard.
