finally, after apparently having eaten up all the money of the country for its own ends, the ultranationalist government of FYROM lost power.


They made their people live in misery while filling their heads with big ideas about macedonia and filling their streets with cheap ass copies of macedonian warrios and kings.


The people were starving and they were building statues of non existant past glories to fill their heads while their bellies went empty


NO MORE!


Socialists have taken power, they have started tearing down these disgraced copies that have unfortunately earned Skopjie (the capital) the tile of the most kitch capital in europe.

Not only that but the socialists will, finally, talk with the albanians of FYROM and come up with stuff to live good together and eat kebabs.


And most importantly the socialist leader of that country has vowed to stop provoking Greece, to drop the name issue completely (together with the statues)

Greece is large at heart and forgiving. It will lift away all vetos for FYROM to enter NATO EU and all the euroatlantic instutitions as soon as humanly possible and after reforms have taken place.


A bright future for such wonderful people like the skopjians.

I never did like Macadonian food. Lots of balkan standbies and very little original stuff. Lake Orid was nice enough but nothing special. Fortunately, the women were slutty as hell and eager to bag an American so they could get the hell out of that place. It was Macadonia's one saving grace.

I rate places by how willing their women are to **** at the drop of a hat and how interesting their cultural attractions are. There were interesting Roman ruins and lots of medieval churches there.

Ironically, their economy is still doing better than Greece. Bulgaria is doing better still and it is the new Croatia as far as buying a cheap summer home and enjoying a good local food and culture go.
