  • Why are there so many teletubby avatars?

I have to constantly look to the left to know who posted something, it's annoying.

    This thread will explain it

...logged in display the generic grey guy avatar on the forum overview page (when I started this thread). Are ppl less individualist or just moar lazy these days? Discuss.

DHX Media of Halifax, Canada owns the rights to the Teletubbies... and Inspector Gadget, Degrassi, Caillou, and just bought the 'Peanuts' franchise.

Because they are cheerful, of high educational value, and the Kid loves them

Aside from Kid, who here would actually derive any educational value from watching Teletubbies?

Well, all forum members who have no individual Avatar right now, might get educated about the usefulness of getting an individual Avatar as soon as possible, just by looking at their default Teletubby Avatar

In all fairness, if they haven't cleared their image cache, they may not even be aware of the issue.

That teletubby thing made me break an almost 13 year old habit - not having an avatar.

Though, I kind of like my choice - besides the obvious, it also says that sometimes poly only makes sense watched upside down.

I am torn. I don't like this avatar but I don't want to give in to terrorism.

It's either that or some people may confuse you with Kid. Do you really want that?

Oerdin are wrong by definition due to his comments on pizzas and politics, but I highly respect his comments when the subject is geology and like.

Kiddy are just wrong but without a clear definition since he doesn't make any sense.

With some stubbornness from Oerdins side they may match

Which is why I would think he wouldn't want anyone confused about it

Wouldn't it be great if the next 'Avatar' movie included the Teletubbies?
