And now we can all laugh, because as he said, laughter is the one thing authority hates because it can't control it.

    Quite correct

"These are the generation that will soon run America. They are not thugs and they oppose hate. They are our children. Get used to it.”
      -Howard Dean

Sounds like a threat. I can't believe that he actually had a shot at the presidency. The dems need to find a way to shut these people up.

Oh they are the most hateful people in America, although you are right that they are childlike.

Even those who didn't participate in terrorism are against free speech, which makes then against the proclaimed values of UC Berkeley, but UC Berkeley doesn't take about that.

When you say muslims are terrorists you are engaging in hate speech and your place is not in a university

When you say that the invasion of Iraq has plunged a territory in chaos and has given birth to a new generation of terrorists you are engaging in rational discourse and your place is in a university

Milo is a troll. Demonstrating against him speaking somewhere is like quoting BK to get his message around the ignore feature.

Trump is also a troll. But one who can make policy. So demonstrations against Trump are necessary.

He won't be able to speak than in little nazi conclaves.
He has no place in universities.
It's like getting BK to speak at a univeristy. It undermines the purpose of the institution, normalizes/legitimizes hate speech etc

Necessary? It's pointless for one. Second, it says more about them. Everyone has the right to protest. Few people disagree with that. Most of the people who do are snowflakes. But that doesn't mean that you can't be critical against people who protest against America because the President said something they don't like.

Protests do say more about the protesters ... mainly, that they are against what they are protesting against. That's the whole point.

Protests have effected changes in the US before. If there was no point to them you wouldn't be so worried about them.

I'm not worried about them except that they weaken this country. Some I agree with. Make sure you are protesting the right thing, not what people say.

Protests do not necessarily weaken the country. Protesting what people say is important, when they are talking about what they are going to do with power they have.

No it isn't. It makes people think you are a snowflake. You can't keep your head in the sand and not expect people to think you are an idiot.
