I actually agree with you regarding Hillary's war vote. But Trump is the first person in the modern era to run on an openly racist, misogynistic and virulently anti-gay platform. If in 4 years time he has done horrific things, those who voted for him won't be able to claim they didn't expect it, because he has been incredibly open about these vile positions.

I'd always kind of assumed he would be a lot more gay friendly than it seemed during the campaign, but I've just read an article about how he's likely to hand a lot of power to Pence (The quote was something like he sees the Presidency as the chairman of the board and the VP as CEO or COO). If that's true then LGBTQ people are in for a truly horrible four years.

He said something about putting a 35% tariff on American companies making cars in Mexico, and a 45% tariff on China

He also said something about some girl's old sex tape. He said a lot of things, but . . . all that's left of his platform is the impossible wall and the Obamacare repeal he's already said he's reconsidering. Re: Pence, he's going to have little power against Obergefell in the near term. Of course the push for TG rights is going to fall apart, but if that's the worst Progs have to complain about they'll be lucky.
