Supposedly on my dad's side I'm part Huguenot. The British part of him is Welsh and Scottish, or something. But I don't know any details and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if I turned out to have a whole lot of weird mutt in me.Comment

Am I doing this right? My X chromosome is pretty homogenous (only E. European) so based on that, I can pretty easily tell which chromosome in each pair comes from my mother (they're all pretty homogenously E. European except for a tiny bit of random NW Europe and Ashkenazi). The other chromosome on each pair, which is much muddier, would be from my father.
So for example, top of 1, 3, 4, 10, 12, 14 and bottom of 5, 6, 7, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 21 would be my mother.
Is that logic sound?
