  • Is everybody just waiting for somebody else to post?

We have, like, a lot of dead times on the forum nowadays. But often people are actually browsing. Or at least, they forgot to close the Apolyton tab. And I'm like, what are you guys doing hanging out on the forum but not posting? And then I'm like, oh wait I'm doing the same thing.

This is a pretty *****in' Saturday night, you guys.

I went to the three dollar theater today in North Hollywood with my boyfriend to see Secret Life of Pets... so I haven't been on.

I love that theater... missed a movie from a few months ago? Well you can watch it for $3. It's $1.50 on Sunday but the amount of people there is a headache.

Anyways, the reason why about 80% of the activity on this forum dropped is because the "Church thread where Ben bashes gays" died down. Unfortunately.

              Whats the theater like?

              Outdoor?

Supper club type where you can have a snack/basic sandwich, chips and soft drink?

              Normal Amphitheatre setting?

              Thanks

By the way, I been thinking about watching with our grandchildren, did you and your boyfriend enjoy?

              Thanks

Just a standard Regency theater comparable to other theaters but with movies from a few months back. It's like any other Regency, but only cheaper and the food is cheaper (not too keen on it anyways... but they have $1.50 hotdogs). I have never been to an outdoor theater before. I know there are one or two in California left.

The movie was a good watch.

                    Great!

I have been to a couple outdoor theaters in North Carolina and was curious on the West Coast if they (West Coast/Cali) had a niche theater setup.

I am assuming Regency is similar to the East Coast Carmike Cinemas?

http://vinelanddriveintheater.com/ - I think this is the only one left in LA, along with one down in San Diego.

Regency is a tad bit cheaper even with their regular theaters ($7.75 matinee, $10.50 regular price). Those theaters show all the new movies.

The one in North Hollywood is just one that shows movies from a few months ago.
