Apolyton wants to know, are you wearing tights?“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”
― C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man

Anywho, lots of fun was had, and I had lots of comments for my favorite "go to festival" t-shirt.
Including from the performers. That hasn't happened before.Last edited by The Mad Monk; September 4, 2016, 13:00.No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Craft beer tasting:
Free State Beer:
Ad Astra - an amber ale, apparently "the first beer brewed in Kansas since 1883". Nice and malty, not sweet, quite fizzy. Medium body. I wouldn't turn one down.
Octoberfest - pretty standard Oktoberfest offering, pretty good. Still prefer the Paulaner product.
Oatmeal Stout - very nice stout, everything you would expect a stout to be -- malty, heavy, and very dark. Nice bit of sweetness, not really bitter.
Copperhead Pale Ale - not really for me, its too bitter for my taste, as most pale ales are.
Coop Ale Works (Oklahoma City):
Elevator Wheat - sweet, kind of zippy, bit of maltiness I would not expect from a wheat; would have again. No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
