It was such a dull match. Went to the fanzone again to hang out with the Wales fans, but the football was tedious as hell.

Despite the goals, it didn't really get any better. Plus you managed to avoid seeming Ronaldo looking like a smug **** again, so you made the right life choice.

Yes, I kind of regret watching.
Socrates: "Good is That at which all things aim, If one knows what the good is, one will always do what is good." Brian: "Romanes eunt domus"
GW 2013: "and juistin bieber is gay with me and we have 10 kids we live in u.s.a in the white house with obama"

Couldn't watch it but apparently france won.
Which is of course what the continent wanted (and that says something )

If football was fair then germany would have won 6-1 but unfortunatedly they forgot some basic rules.

First, the ball are supposed to be put between the goal posts and under the crossbar, not outside those.

Second, you are supposed to prevent the other team in doing the same.

Third, the game is called football, not handball
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Was in a bar packed to the rafters with French people, and not a single one thought the penalty was a penalty at first. It was very surreal.

I don't think we were informed beforehand that there would be a penalty shortly before the break. This does not count.

Visiting Apolyton while Christiano Ronaldo is crying (for a got reason this time). I do not really care after Deutschland lost.

What I find somewhat intriguing with Ben Kenobi's story about his childhood exploits is that it seems to me to be an example of how extremely insulated football in North America, Soccer, was until quite recently. Just the idea of having players, even kids, playing a pyramid formation more than 80 years or so after the revision of the offside rule and Chapman's introduction of the WM-formation is almost mind-boggling. It looks like, while football in the rest of the world became more and more global, soccer in at least some parts of the US and Canada [added after Jrabbit comment] lived a life in almost complete isolation. This is not the first time I have heard or read about weird things like that.

                    • Euro champions record this tournament. W1 D6. Wtf?
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

Just for accuracy, please note that Ben Kenobi is Canadian, and played his football in Canada (Vancouver area). Not disputing your point, just clarifying.

Though I'm more concerned about the invasion of moths in the stadium being the 1st sign of the coming apocalypse

Yeah, I added Canada too but it's not like it is a real country anyway.
