CHICAGO (WLS) --
Two people were fatally shot after a Chicago police officer opened fire in West Garfield Park on the city's West Side early Saturday morning, police said.
The shooting happened at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday near West Erie Street and North Kilpatrick Avenue, officials said.
One of the victims was 19-year-old Quintonio LeGrier, who she said was in college studying engineering.
Another fine young person who was nice, polite, always willing to help and who's mother says he would never ever do anything wrong.
I guess he was not getting ready for finals. what a surprise.
The cops should just not show up anymore. Let them work it out among themselves. I'm sure the police not showing up would result in even more lawsuits.
here's a tip - dont walk up to a cop with a baseball bat while he is responding to call - about your dumb ass causing issues at 4:30am. but no! little Quintonio didnt deserve to be shot. whatever.
