My point is that he has served his time. It is up to him what he does when he returns. Manners don't cost anything and all I'm saying is that people should maintain the moral high ground and give the guy a chance to demonstrate whether he's changed or not.
That's all. I simply find it ironic that people seem to be lining up to behave in such a way that they're automatically going to lower themselves to the same level as they perceive this person is going to behave when he returns...

I think people are trying to say that they will treat him when he comes back, like they did before. What has Ben done to earn different treatment? Respect is earned. If he comes back and tries to earn it then it will different, but I doubt anyone here thinks that's going to happen.
