Kinda sorta like that. I just unplug them. They only line the windows on the first floor, sandwiched on the inside between the window and the blinds, so they're not noticeable (if you're not looking for them) unless they're on.

My mother is a lapsed Catholic and my father is a Jew who doesn't believe in God. We have every right to pretend to celebrate these holidays. Plus I'm pretty full with brisket and latkes right now, so **** yeah cultural appropriation.
