Yes, I get it too (Chrome, Firefox). I haven't changed anything on the server, and using AdBlock doesn't fix it.

Well, I was just trying to be pithy, and pithiness isn't served by verbosity.

Brain in a vat scenarios bring up questions about how you can really know that X and what X really is. So both epistemology and ontology. I've mostly seen it in the context of philosophical skepticism.
