or do you really believe multi-national media corporations are "liberal"?

Some people in the media are and some aren't. The folks at SNL are certainly left leaners. Last week's show was quite blatant about it.
Even though I totally dislike Hilary, I found how they portrayed her as quite sympathetic.
It's quite obvious to anyone that watches it. But it seems most viewers believe the media is opposite to their beliefs since stories that are seem to be more memorable to them then those that support them.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Not quite sure of your point on that comment. Rereading it didn't help.

But most of my liberal friends think the media is conservative and most of my conservative friends think it's too liberal.

If you're a leftwing extremist then of course the media is conservative, from your POV.

                  First. There's no "the media".

Second. If there was, it wouldn't be accurately described as "liberal" (or "conservative", for that matter) by any stretch of the imagination.

Third. Sounds like your friends are also stupid.

That's why I didn't group media all together and tried to classify them as individuals or smaller groups.

And even then it's not absolutes. While FOX usually leans towards the wackos, sometimes I'll see them doing a story that is positive about something that would be considered a liberal cause.

And I've always kind of considered you a friend

"liberal media" and "conservative media" isn't much better than "the media"

                      same

(and i included myself in the "stupid" comment of course)

Yeah you're probably right there, but people love to define things so they can complain about them.

                        And this is the internet.

Well that's one thing about getting old. Every day you wake up and learn that you were wrong about something else.

I miss the certainty of youth. I used to be right about EVERYTHING.

Of course getting married kills that one right away.
