Don't you think it may be more harming to a child to tell them that they should avoid certain colors and toys based on pure speculations and dogma? Wouldn't they then only begin to wonder why they like something that society says has a certain meaning behind it? Talking about confusing children. Their likes and dislikes evolve in time.Comment

I don't actually think that harms a child unless it is because you don't like him/her. If they like to play with guns and cars and you don't let them because you want them to be more girly then it might harm them.
