The smartest, and dumbest, US Presidents

Jefferson, Adams and Madison get rated very highly. It seems the earliest US Presidents raise the average quite a bit.

Some of the more recent US presidents are rated rather poorly with Bush, Ford and Reagan attracting unfavourable comment.
