  • My co-worker was breastfeeding in the office, and it was disgusting

I was like "dude, you've got gynecomastia, you can't even produce milk. And that's a My Little Pony doll and not a real baby." Now I'm being sent to sensitivity training.

Alternative OP: My co-worker should be old enough to be on solid foods at this point.

I saw a girl on the train this morning. She had a slightly larger than average chest and was showing considerable cleavage. She had an intricate tat on her left breast. Of course it drew my attention and I got caught staring. I got one of those pervert looks. REALLY. You get a tat on a breast and display it but if someone looks at it, they're the perv. What did she expect?

I think it's unreasonable to expect not to be looked at when in public, but I do understand what women are thinking here. They like the way they look and feel in particular clothes, so they wear those clothes. They don't wear those clothes to attract attention (necessarily). Of course, there's glancing and there's leering. /me shrugs.

I don't know. Dressy classy to look good is one thing. Putting a tat on your breast and displaying it is an invitation to look at it.
It's like wearing 6 inch heals. They can't be comfortable. There's a reason they call them stripper heals. They're to attract attention.

I'm not saying that it's invitation to sex or rape.
I'm saying that tat's in general are a 'look at me kind of thing'. or at worse, I expect to be looked at, and really shouldn't be surprised when people do.

As a woman, yes, I don't mind a guy looking...but seriously...staring? That can sometimes come off as really creepy. The tattoo dilemma is acknowledging you see it. If interested, in a closer look, ask the woman first what it is about. Gawking and staring again appears perverted. Tattoos are attention getters, and those with them always have an interesting story they want to share! All and all, it usually comes down to you not realizing what expressive message your staring face is relaying to the other. Best keep to a simple glance or two and move on.
