  • Free food or cash, your choice.

People who bought certain varieties of StarKist tuna are eligible for $25 in cash or $50 worth of tuna, after the settlement of a class-action lawsuit.

So Starkist ****ed people over, something about not enough tuna in the cans. Now they have to pay up. You can get either $50 in tuna products, or $25 cash settlement. All you have to do is swear you bought some Starkist Tuna at one point or another, and you get free food or cash.

Go here to file your claim.

I opted for $50 in free tuna.

I don't buy Starkist so I could not claim anything in good conscience. Now, if I could get a claim from As Do Mar.......

As long as you have bought a single can since 2009 you are legally part of the settlement. BTW I usually buy American Tuna brand canned tuna as it is the last canned tuna still made in the USA. They don't give you the loose flake piece but one whole solid piece of tuna steak made from albacore tuna caught right off the coast here in San Diego by local independent t fishing families. The fisherman also own the co-op which cans them. Try their smoked whole albacore steaks packed in olive oil.

Discover the ocean's bounty with our premium canned seafood selection. We offer a range of high-quality options, including succulent pink salmon, premium albacore tuna, and more. Our canned tuna and salmon are perfect for creating quick, healthy dishes that don't compromise on flavor.

I will probably spend my $50 coupon on that one. It is a shame Starkist doesn't have a solid albacore in olive oil. Only in cheap vegetable oil.
