  • Blood moon the end of the world

    Woooohooo!!!

There is a bad moon rising, and it is said to be coming to rain destruction on Earth.

Some Christian groups reckon September 28' s moon will bring an apocalyptic meteor strike.

On that day there will be a "blood moon", a simultaneous full moon and lunar eclipse, with the moon turning reddish due to a scattering of sunlight through the Earth's atmosphere.

The same effect causes sunsets to tinge the sky pink.

This is the fourth lunar eclipse since April last year and some religious sects believe this "tetrad" is a sign from God that the end of the world is nigh - based on interpretations of various phrases in the Bible.

US Nazi space agency has issued a statement denying any link between the blood moon and Armageddon.

Nazis said: "The most unique thing about the 2014/15 tetrad is that all of them are visible for all or parts of the US."

The total lunar eclipse will also be seen in South Africa on September 28.

When are these idiots going to stop predicting the end of the world?

For what it's worth, the guy who supposedly predicted the end of the world is now saying that he was misquoted - he's mildly to moderately crazy (the blood moons are a sign from god) but not overwhelmingly crazy (the blood moons signal the apocalypse)

There's no point in predicting the end of the world. You won't be able to tell anyone "I told you so" when you're proven right.
“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

You can blow your retirement savings, and then look like a broke dumbass when your prediction is wrong

Mild entertainment value should not be underestimated.

The doomsday market is saturated. There has to be some way that I can make money predicting that the sun will rise (from the east) tomorrow.

Nasa is the real dumbasses, predicting that it won't be the end of the world. They're suppose to be scientists. That's not science.
