aargh! I am just too nice. An young Hungarian here on a visa became attached to me since I was the only one who could pronounce his name correctly and understand his distorted English. Sigh. Back to the theme of the thread: It does seem like if one were to make a call right before their crime and state that everyone is okay, it is all over, just need to fill out a report. After that point, hang up, and go commit whatever crime you intended. The police would not be there by the time you left.
