                Congratulations to New Horizons ... it just made its FlyBy to Pluto ... data from the encounter won´t be sent back before tomorrow however ... the probe is currently too busy with collecting data than having time to send it back home.

                But here the last picture by LORRI before FlyBy ... froma distance of just 768,000 km

                The next image will most probably be from a much closer distance, as the shortest distance during FlyBy is ~12,500 km

                              All that remains now is to download those 83Gb data. At 2kb/s (bits, not bytes) this only takes 16 months
