  • Double logins, not necessarily bad, sometimes good

Double logins seem to get a bad press however some double logins do have redeeming qualities.

The creation of a double login (DL) necessarily involves adopting a persona which is usually different from the persona of the "original login" (OL).

The DL may be more interesting than the OL, perhaps contributing more to the forum than the OL. With the added benefit of taking the OL offline while the DL is online.

    Please discuss.

In many cases, the DL's aren't very original and have a limited scope... With the humor lasting about one or two posts...
However, in your case, I would have to agree

Actually, I was spotted as a DL as soon as I started posting by both AAHZ and Thoth. And probably others.

If I poast AAHZ again, does that mean you will place another poast in this thrade?

You can find the answer Aeson and Horsie.

Take the Turing Test, to see if you are real.

                        I, braindead, scored 63%

                        Here is the test

Michael Barclay and Antony Galton at the University of Exeter, UK, and colleagues have created a test that asks machines to mimic some of our visual abilities

I was a prodigy as a child but I'm afraid I'm too befuddled these days to do well on those tests

I found it a very tough test. I was surprised I passed, and very surprised to do so well with my 63%.
