    Some administrative requests

    Since the forum is undergoing one of it's periodic naval-gazing wank fests that sometimes actually result in changes being made, I'd like to make a couple of requests to the Administration:

    1) Please fix the bug that prevents users from putting Moderators on ignore. I've *****ed about this bug repeatedly over the years and under at least 2 different owners yet nothing ever gets done about this glaring bug.

    2) If Ming comes back as a Moderator he should ban Asher as his first act. No real reason other than Asher's bans used to create some highly entertaining forum drama.

    3) Re-instate the "Closed threads" forum. The OTF just isn't the same without the Hall of Fame.

    4) Change Aahz's name back to "OTbot".

            Is there a way to fix the 'search' function, to allow searches?

              I'm sure there is a way to fix it, but it's something I haven't been able to figure out. Threads from 2004ish to 2012ish just don't show up in results.

              Google site:apolyton.net works for some things, but it still isn't very good for finding something a specific poster said.

                  You must not be paying attention... I'm already an admin with full moderator rights

                  But nah... Banning Asher wouldn't be any fun. He mellowed out and was "mostly" a good and "respected" poster

                      The administration here is run by the same people that ran the airfield in Catch 22, so good luck with your requests Toth.

                      For the record, I run my office like Major Major, so this is no criticism.
