With my nieces (5 and 7 years old), my brother and sister in law use a combination of time outs for misbehavior and an alllowance for good behavior.
When they misbehave for me I either tell them that I'm going to fart on them or something along those lines (for minor infractions), or else that I'm going to stop putting money in their college fund (for major infractions).<p style="font-size:1024px">HTML is disabled in signatures </p>
