Grammar (spelling? vocabulary? whatever) nazi to the rescue: it's actually "bated breath," from "abate." "Baited breath" would imply that your breath smells like cheese and you're trying to get mice to crawl into your mouth or something along those lines, and that's kind of gross.

And still, what is your point? A woman did bad things... and got convicted of it. So?
If you are trying to make out that all woman are bad... Amnesty International has revealed that in France a women is killed by domestic violence at least every 4 days, and that 1 out of 10 women in France is a victim of domestic violence at some point in their lives. So men are far worse.Keep on Civin'

It always depends on the definitions. I worked on a survey for the government where they so broadened the definition of Sex Harassment that they were able to claim that almost everybody has been sexually harassed. But since their existence was created to handle the problem it would have been funny if the research said there wasn't really a problem. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Let me guess:
You have actually been living in France and this story is actually about you.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

The court heard how Medkour stole Gaget's identity papers and credit cards, forced him to sleep on the floor near the front door and prevented him from accessing the toilet.
For over a year he suffered beatings, insults, she burned him with cigarettes or a white-hot knife, threw salt into his eyes and blocked his contact with the outside world.
Medkour told him that if he rebelled, she would accuse him of paedophilia. No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
