      I was asking about the units. From what I read from my last blood test, the upper recommended limit was 10 million per liter IIRC

        I wouldn't know. I was told 11.5 is the upper range of normal.

        Don't know about units.

              Normally one would expect them to include the units used for every value that you can find there (as they can vary greatly ... be it mmol, µg or whatever)

                  I'm sure rules about such things vary.

                  IIUC, things like white blood cell count are actual counts put through a formula.

                  Guy and DS would be able to give a better answer.

                                At least here, I get the number, units, method used and (in most cases) acceptable range.

                                In my case, for white cells, for example, it was million cells per liter.
