A safe space? Stop being whiny *****es who need protection and be real ****ing men, goddammit. No insult from homo-marxist-feminist modern America should be able to penetrate your massive biceps and thick skulls.

Well that settles that... I guess I'm definitely going to be watching Mad Max this weekend.

that could be well be it. i also read (this kind of bull**** is addictive) an article saying that women shouldn't have the vote because things were so much better in 1900.

the thing that really strikes me is that the people who write, and believe, this sort of nonsense about how society was better back before women had the vote/could own property/whatever always imagine themselves at or near the tiny apex of the social pyramid that existed at the time. just statistically, leaving aside their imbecility, this would be extremely unlikely, and they would find themselves in the ample lower layers of said pyramid, i.e. a far worse position than now.

I don't know how much truth there is to it, but I read somewhere that given the choice of "pick one: you win $50,000 and your neighbor wins $100,000, or you lose $50,000 and your neighbor loses $100,000" most people will opt for the second choice

I don't boycott that stuff. That said, Women Ghostbusters is sure to suck.

i can well believe that. people often really hate their neighbours (says cockney as his neighbour "mr. bang bang" continues his seemingly never ending renovation project next door ).

In your case, if your neighbor won $100,000 then he could spend even more time renovating, which would make the second option even more tempting

Ironically people like you and COckney are the scumbag traditionalists.

exactly, and i'd probably have to spend a good chunk of my $50,000 on sound proofing. but then again if mr. bang bang lost $100,000 he might have to sell the flat and then someone else could come in and want to remodel it...

I don't think people are that small minded.

You should just go back to justifying killing your babies.
