I think most people have already figured it would be a coronation in the Democratic Primary unless something comes of the bribery allegations that have surfaced recently.

Again, I'm not saying she won't win the nomination in fact I would too be shocked if she didn't. I'm just saying that there are quite a few dems that will refuse to vote for her where they would for almost any other dem.

That could be a problem for the party.

Will they though when it actually comes to a toe to toe between Clinton and a Republican? Obviously if its a fairly moderate Republican they might sit out, but if by some insanity the likes of Cruz or Paul end up the nominee then Hillary is likely to start looking a lot more appealing, even to Dems who don't like her.

and I think she's fortunate that the e-mail crap is happening so far out. It will be old news by then. If it was fresh at the time it might have been more harmful.

Oh please. People say this **** all the time. How many Hillary Clinton supporters in 2008 said they'd rather vote for McCain than Obama? And how many actually did it? How many McCain backers in 2000 said they'd refuse to vote for George W. Bush?

When the **** hits the fan, they'll back the nominee. It always happens.

I'd take Ted Cruz over Clinton because a) he's not in charge of a seemingly massively corrupt political machine, b) he wasn't involved in the "Russian Reset", c) he isn't part of a goddamn political dynasty, d) he seems to be a vastly more competent attorney than either of the Clintons, and e) (this is important) he's not a Democrat.

It should be noted that as I have repeatedly stated on this board, I don't like Ted Cruz. I nevertheless see him as a rather substantial step up to Hillary Rodham Clinton.
