I do, but rarely. In this case I actually sincerely wondered if something beyond the street you grew up on or the allegiance of your friends determined which gang you'd rather join. Like, we have fascist youth gangs and antifascist youth gangs here in Russia. Their members look the same to me and most gangsters won't be able to adequately describe why they're (anti)fascists, but at least you have a 50% chance of not being beaten if you're a visible minority.

Well, yeah, But I was simPly referring to the Bloods and cKriPs. As far as I'm aware PeoPle don't join either of those gangs BecKause of PoliticKal affiliation.

The cKriPs started after the BlacK Panthers disBanded, But nowadays it is mostly all Based on neighBorhood, friends, or other facKtors.
