ok i can see that happening (there was a case here in brazil recently where a street seller was killed by a policeman: the street seller tried to grab the gun, and the policeman shot him dead - i can understand why he did, although the situation leading up to the incident should never have been allowed to occur (someone caught it on film), and is in fact typical of the police here, harassing guys trying to make a living). however, there is a long way between an unarmed man running at a policeman and trying to take his gun to kill him.Originally posted by Donegeal View Post"The Christian way has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found to be hard and left untried" - GK Chesterton.

Well we've had 25 police officers killed in the line of duty since 2000. This doesn't include road accidents and the like incidentally, just deliberate killings.

Also, didn't the officer have a partner or something? Did he just show up alone?
