btw, authorities in Canada stopped a mass shooting/attack of some sort

TORONTO: A group of "murderous misfits" had planned to massacre as many people as possible in a Valentine's Day shooting spree that police foiled after an anonymous tipoff, Canada's justice minister Peter MacKay said on Saturday.

Police arrested three people, including an American woman, before the attack in the eastern city of Halifax could take place. A fourth man linked to the plot was found dead in a house in Halifax, police said. "Based on what we know so far, it would have been devastating, mass casualties would have been a possibility," MacKay said. "The attack does not appear to have been culturally motivated, therefore not linked to terrorism."

He said a 19-year-old Canadian man and a 23-year-old American woman had planned to open fire at an unidentified public venue.

The audio recording of the shooting has men opening fire and then shouting in Arabic. Oh, and, of course, not satisfied with killing one and wounding three our muslim terrorists are now shooting up a synagogue. Because that is what these people do.

according to the bbc the attacker (there was only one) killed one man at the synagogue and was later shot dead by police.

Too bad he got killed, it would have been better if he had survived and we could hear his reasonings from him and not speculation. And it would have been better had he got to jail, to serve his sentence.
