Anticipate lower Elok availability

No, we're hoping to have one parent stay home with the kids. Even Florida's teaching wages will allow that with our lifestyle (though saving for college could be problematic).

What helps with that is the childcare is so freaking expensive in the US.

The only cost is future career for the stay at home parent.

Eh, my wife didn't have much of a future career to sacrifice. She had a decent job working for a tech company back when we got married, but her position was rapidly becoming obsolete, and she doesn't have a bachelor's.
